Project Drawdown describes itself as "the World's Leading Resource for Climate Solutions" Their website has global solutions and estimates the investment costs and savings due to implementing climate solutions. "Drawdown" refers to a future in time when levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere stop climbing and start to steadily decline. This is the point when we begin the process of stopping further climate change and averting potentially catastrophic warming. It is a critical turning point
"The greenhouse effect is the way in which heat is trapped close to Earth's surface by “greenhouse gases.” " - NASA
Carbon dioxide as well as a other greenhouse gases have increased dramatically in the last 50+ years.
The last 10 years are the hottest on record.
"As human activity warms our planet, the ocean absorbs over 90 percent of the excess heat. This increases water volume and melts ice sheets and glaciers, contributing to sea level rise. Watch the video to learn how much global sea level is rising each year, what that looks like in everyday terms, and why it matters." - NASA
A carbon footprint is the total amount of greenhouse gases generated due to our actions.

Will Grant describes how there are four levels at which you can take action on climate. Level 3 is where most people can make the most impact.
Our mission is to help the world reach “Drawdown”— the point in the future when levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere stop climbing and start to steadily decline, thereby stopping catastrophic climate change — as quickly, safely, and equitably as possible.
