Each year, the Township appoints representatives to various committees, some with an impact on climate change.  If you are interested in serving on one of the committee, the openings are advertised and applications are due in the fall for the following year.

• Parks & Rec Board

Help out at one of the Friends of Haverford Trails trail maintenance days!

We welcome trained and novice tree planters at our twice-yearly work days (mid-November and late April).

Assist Haverford Township with invasive removal work days!

Have you opened a new location, redesigned your shop, or added a new product or service? Don't keep it to yourself, let folks know.

Karakung Creek and Karakung Drive have long been neglected. Karakung is the cradle of Haverford Township. Its mills and factories are an essential part of local and national history. Volunteers accomplished much in Summer 2019 before Covid.
Now, we need the public voice to save the creek and the Powder House.

Assist with EAC events such as Earth Day, workshops, waste diverters and the Bike Corral at Haverford Township festivals!
